Michelle LuVane Truman, 79, of Cloquet, MN, passed away on Tuesday, January 2, 2024. She was born on September 20, 1944, to Charles and LuVane Privette, in Duluth. Michelle attended Denfeld High School and graduated in 1961. She married Robert Truman on October 14, 2000. Working in food service as a cook for the County, at Chris Jenson Nursing Home in Duluth, she was considered a culinary artist. Michelle attended both Our Saviors Lutheran Church and Hope Lutheran Church. She loved playing BINGO and playing in the Cribbage League. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Truman; daughter, Shelley Ratcliff; and sisters, Kay Thorstenson and Georgia Johnson. Michelle will be missed by her children, John Mrozik, Tami Rustad, Candy Ellefson, and Joe Mrozik; brothers, Duane and Dale Privette; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the Memorial Service at Noon on Wednesday, January 10, 2024, at Hope Lutheran Church, 4093 Munger Shaw Rd, Cloquet. A luncheon will follow the service at the Solway Town Hall, 4029 Munger Shawl Rd, Cloquet. The burial will be Thursday, January 11, 2024 at Spruce Hill Cemetery in Alborn beginning at 2:00 p.m. Arrangements entrusted to Atkins-Northland Funeral Home, 801 14th Street, Cloquet, MN 55720.
