Mildred L. Richards, 80 of Sarasota passed away on Wednesday, November 15, 2006 in Venice. She was born September 24, 1926 in Buckley, Michigan and moved to Sarasota 21 years ago from Buckley. She was a member of the Wayside Chapel and worked for 20 years as a Post Master with the United States Post Office both in Buckley. Mildred is survived by three daughters, Diana Cullen and Janis Weber both of Sarasota, Fl., and Val Young of Venice, Florida, three sons, Douglas of Traverse City, Michigan, Scott and Brian both of Sarasota, Fl., eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren. A service will be held for Mildred next week in Buckley, Michigan. In lieu of flowers friends may send memorials in memory of Mildred to the American Diabetes Association, Southwest FL office, 4902 Eisenhower Blvd., Suite 295, Tampa, Fl 33634. Farley funeral Home, Venice Chapel in charge of local arrangements. Friends may visit anytime online at www.farleyfuneralhome.com to sign guest register book and extend condolences to the family.
