Milton K. Williams

Milton K. Williams, 93, of Haines City, FL passed away on April 1st, 2023 at his daughter’s residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born September 12, 1929 in Plainfield, NJ to Milton C. and Grace Jacot Williams. Milton was a proud veteran who served our country in the United States Army from which he was honorably discharged with the rank of PFC. After being discharged from the service, he moved to Haines City in 1956 from Warren, NJ. Milton was a painter all his life, retiring in 1995, when he had to care for his parents, which he did for 10 years. He was of the Baptist faith. Milton was a loving father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He was a gentle man of a few words, but when he spoke, it was worth listening to. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, and hunting in his younger years. Milton was a runner and he participated in many marathons, and he always said running was very important to stay healthy. His family said that he loved animals, especially his cat, Romeo. Milton is preceded in death by his parents, Milton and Grace Williams and brother, Gilbert Williams. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his daughters, Nancy Newman and Susan Stripling; son, Milton K. Williams; six grandchildren, Kenneth, Tiffany, Stephanie, Christopher Stripling, Melissa and Amber Williams; eleven great grandchildren, Lamon, Waylon, Levi, Scarlet, Skyler, Camden, Devon, Dillon, Roseanna, Desi, and Noah. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 5, 2023 at 11: 00 am followed by a service at 12:00 pm all at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Haines City, FL. Final resting place at Forest Hill Cemetery in Haines City, FL.
