Nancy Durham-Jones, 73, of North Port, FL, formerly of Eveleth, MN, passed away on February 8, 2017. Nancy was born on July 29, 1943 in Wyandotte, MI, and moved to the North Port area in 2005. She was a registered nurse and worked for hospice. Survivors include her husband, Jerry Jones; children, Vincent (Deana) Popovich, Marnie Ross, Penelope Jones, Ginger (Gene) Schoen and Erin Jones; grandchildren Cody Popovich, Danielle and Katelyn Thompson, Gene Schoen, Josie Guilbeault, and Lonna Herron; mother, Ruth Johnson; siblings Charles (Barbara) Durham, Susan Check, and Ronald (Lola) Durham; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father, Edward Durham, daughter, Brenda Popovich, grandsons, Michael Cappella and Chad Schoen, step-father Arnie Johnson, uncle, Stanley Novlan, and grandparents, Walter and Olga Park. There are no local services planned at this time. Farley Funeral Homes & Crematory is handling arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made directly to the family.
