HAINES CITY - Nancy E. Welch, 67, of Haines City died Monday, January 18, 2016 at her residence. She was born May 24, 1948 in Cameron, NY to Douglas Sherer and Louise Zeh Sherer. Mrs. Welch was a Homemaker and Methodist by faith. She was currently serving proudly as the President of the Orlando Area Polymer Clay Guild. She was predeceased by her parents and is survived by her husband of 20 years Loran N. Welch, Jr.; sons Tracy Dean of Kissimmee and Timothy Dean of TN; daughter Tanya Johnston and her husband James of Haines City; stepson Loran Welch III of Lake Hamilton; stepdaughter Tammy Hewitt and her husband Robert of Pensacola; brothers Gary Sherer and his wife Linda of NY, Larry Sherer and his wife Janet of NY and Kenneth Sherer and his wife Patricia of NY; sister Nita Baker of Auburndale; 11 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be in her name to the Orlando Area Polymer Clay Guild Scholarship Fund. At her request no services will be held.
