Nicole Marie Hanna, 34, of Cloquet, died unexpectedly Saturday, July 6, 2013 in Ely. She was born in 1978 in Minneapolis. Nicole was a 1997 graduate of Cloquet High School and received an Associate's Degree in Early Childcare from WITC. She was preceded in death by her grandparents. Nicole is survived by her parents, Sherry and Duane Haarsager of Cloquet and Bill Hanna of Virginia; brothers, Brandon (Mary Jo) Hanna of Maple Grove and Kory (Jen) Haarsager of Andover; nieces, Addie, Lexi, and Bella; aunts and uncles, Ron and Karen Carlson, Gary and Anne Carlson, Chris and Sherri Carlson, Mary and Jerry Manske, John and Patsy Hanna, Tom Hanna, Roger and Charlotte Haarsager, and Vickie Voigt; and special friend, Angie Riebe. A Memorial Service was held on Thursday, July 11, 2013 in Atkins-Northland Funeral Home, 801 14th Street, Cloquet, followed by refreshments in the Fireside Room of the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Luke's Pediatric Unit.
