December 10th, 1924 - July 26th, 2015
Norman Virgil “Swede” Davis, 90, passed away on July 26, 2015. Norm was born December 10, 1924 in Greeley, Colorado to Asa Scott Davis and Dovie Elizabeth Barnes Davis. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Emma Inez Dickinson Davis, his son Roy Curtis Davis and daughter Patsy Ann Dean, Grandsons Robert “Tyce” Davis, Nathan Cayle Davis, Reggie Michael Davis, Casey Patrick Davis, granddaughters Corey Jenay Davis and Alisha Morgan Davis, great-grandsons Aeden Kayle Davis, Roman Timoleon Davis, Bryce Xristos Davis and great-granddaughter Kianna Jamae Davis. He is preceded in death by his son Robert Scott Davis, grandsons Jason Scott Davis and Michael Bahre Davis. Norm served in the Navy during WWII for 3 years 2 months and 24 days including tours in the South Pacific. Norm then worked for Mountain States Telephone Company in Wyoming, Utah and Colorado, retiring after 34 1/2 years as a district manager in Utah for Mountain Bell.
