Ollie M. Todd, 86, of Lexington, passed away Saturday, August 12, 2017. She was born on October 9, 1930 in Lockhart, South Carolina to the late Herman and Renna Henderson Knox. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Lee Todd; her son, Johnny Todd; sisters, Evelyn Newton, Nellie Black and Lucy Martin; brothers, Claude Knox and Wilmer Knox. Ollie was a devoted mother, grandmother, aunt and Christian who placed faith and family above all else. She was an active member of Joel Baptist Church for over 40 years. Ollie was the cornerstone of her family who will be dearly missed. Ollie is survived by her daughter, Cindy Medlin; son David Todd (Trish); four grandchildren; six great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews who were very special to her. The family will receive friends at Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington, 4720 Augusta Rd, Lexington, SC 29073 on Tuesday, August 15, 2017 from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm. Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at Joel Baptist Church. Interment will follow in church cemetery. Memorials may be made to Joel Baptist Church, 1165 Old Barnwell Rd, West Columbia, South Carolina 29170.
