Paden Traves, 16, of Nokomis, Florida died September 7, 2006. He was born February 19, 1990 in Sarasota, FL. Paden’s family moved to Nokomis 5 years ago from Sarasota. Paden had recently been appointed Senior Patrol Leader for the Boy Scout Troop 77 of Venice and had almost achieved rank of Eagle Scout. Paden was a previous member of Cub Scout Pack 50 & Boy Scout Troop 50 of Sarasota. Paden is survived by his mother Yetta Levitt and his father Stephen Traves; brother Ben Traves; grandmother Kathleen Levitt – all of Nokomis, FL A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 30, 10:00 AM at Pine View School in Osprey, FL. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the following non profit organization devoted to protect beaches – Surfrider Foundation, P.O. Box 6010, San Clemente, CA 92674 or online at Surfrider.org. Friends may visit anytime online at www.farleyfuneralhome.com to sign a guest register book and extend condolences to the family.
