Pamela Joy Jacksie
January 13th, 1951 - March 31st, 2003
Pamela Joy Jacksie, 52, of Cloquet, radiant light in the lives of many, died on Monday, March 31, 2003, after fighting a courageous and noble battle with Scleroderma. She was born on January 13, 1951 in Cloquet to Joyce and Jalmer Angell. She was a lifelong resident of Cloquet. Pam married her high school sweetheart Steven B. Jacksie on November 13, 1971. Pam was one of the original builders of the Big Lake Golf Club and worked at Wear-a-Knit Corporation for numerous years, and most recently she was employed at Chex Services. Pam was instrumental in creating a support group in Northern Minnesota for Scleroderma. Welcoming her into heaven is her brother, Terry Angell; her grandparents; and her father-in-law, Bernard Jacksie. In addition to her devoted husband, Steve, Pam is survived by her daughter Jodie (John) Rudnicki; her son, Nathan Jacksie; the apple of her eye, her granddaughter, Abby Joy Rudnicki; her parents, Joyce and Jalmer Angell; brothers, Tom Angell and Richard Angell; her special sister, Penney (Del) Prevost; her mother-in-law Vera Jacksie Goldberg; numerous nieces, nephews; grandnieces and grand nephews. Funeral services were held Friday, April 4, 2003 in Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Cloquet. Burial was in Maple Grove Cemetery. Services entrusted to Northland Funeral Home, Cloquet.
