Pasquale John "Pat" DeMartino
March 26th, 1931 - August 24th, 2018
Pasquale ""Pat"" John DeMartino, age 87, of Venice, Florida and formerly of Milford, Connecticut passed away on August 24, 2018. He was born on March 26, 1931 in New Haven to John and Josephine (Fiorello) Armatino. Pat retired from Roadway Express as a shop steward and was a member of the Brotherhood of Teamsters Local #191 in Bridgeport, CT. He was also a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp (1948-1952) and served during the Korean Conflict. Pat is survived by his two children; Denise Ann (DeMartino) (Kevin) Casey of Venice, Florida, John Patrick DeMartino of Punta Gorda, Florida and three loving grandchildren; Kaitlyn Ann Casey, Erica Lynn DeMartino and John ""Johnny"" Patrick DeMartino, Jr. He was preceded in death by his wife, Theresa Ann Papelo DeMartino on January 7, 2004, his son, Ralph Anthony DeMartino on October 8, 1973 and his five sisters, Rose Chiaraluce, Louise Armatino, Mary Giovanelli, Phyllis Callegari and Julia Serio. There are no services planned at this time. Memorial donations may be made to Tidewell Hospice, Inc., 5955 Rand Blvd., Sarasota, Florida 34238. Farley Funeral Home in Venice, Florida is handling the arrangements.
