Patricia A. Downing, age 69, of North Port, Florida, passed away on May 22, 2011. She was born on July 10, 1941 in East Providence, Rhode Island. Patricia was an office manager with Prudential Life Insurance Company of American for 30 years. She is survived by her companion of 28 years, Vincent A. Blas of North Port; a daughter, Lisa George of North Attleboro, Massachusetts; a son, Peter H. downing, II of Ladera Ranch, California and a brother, Ronald Medeiros of Pascoag, Rhode Island. She also leaves behind four grandchildren. A visitation will be from 2:00-4:00PM on Thursday, May 26, 2011 at Farley Funeral Home in North Port. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 12:30PM on Friday, May 27, 2011 at San Pedro Catholic Church in North Port. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to TideWell Hospice, Inc., 5955 Rand Blvd., Sarasota, Florida 3238.
