Patricia Anita Felmlee

Patricia Anita Felmlee, 74, of Monument, went home to be with her Lord Jesus after a brief illness on October 18, 2014. She was born on February 2, 1940 in San Luis, Colorado to Harry and Belinda Carpenter. Pat is preceded in death by her parents and 2 brothers Robert and David Carpenter.Pat graduated from Adam State College with a BA in Elementary Education. Then married the love of her life Theron. After teaching a year, they began their family and she was devoted to raising her 3 children. Theron's education and career led them to explore the world, spending time in Arizona, Australia, a little over 30 years in San Jose, California, and finally back to their beloved Colorado. Pat spent many years ministering with Bible Study Fellowship, and she and Theron were very involved in the support of missionaries around the world. When the kids went to college she worked hard to support that, working as an administrative assistant at Hewlett Packard for 15 years. Most recently she and Theron have been involved in sharing the gospel through Gideons International. She made numerous friends through the years. She loved being involved in all the various activities of her grandchildren. She enjoyed people very much and always wanted to be in on the action. Pat is survived by her brother Paul Carpenter; loving husband of 51 years, Theron; children Susan (Bob) West, Jennifer (Mike) Drews, Daniel (Cheryl) Felmlee, and her 5 grandchildren Kyle, Jonathan, and Monica West, and Ethan and Madeleine Drews.
