Age 98 of St. Paul, Minnesota
Patricia “Pat” Hurley passed away peacefully on July 26th, 2024. Pat was born in St. Paul, MN in 1926. She was the youngest of the five “Hurley girls” born to William D. and Mary A. Hurley. Pat was a life-long resident of St. Paul, attending Nativity Grade School, St. Joseph’s Academy, and the College of St. Catherine. She worked at the VA hospital for many years in the personnel department and was a loyal and loving caregiver for her elder sister Geraldine throughout her long life.
“Aunt Pat” will best be remembered and missed for her wonderful sense of humor, fierce independence, incredible memory and story telling, devotion to her sister “Gerry”, and her sparking blue eyes passed down from her mother.
Patricia is preceded in death by her parents; Sisters Maxine Meehan, Willamarie Hoffmann, Viovodale Kingston and Geraldine Hurley.
She is survived by Niece Stephanie (Geoff) Laramy; Nephews Gregory (Nancy) Hoffmann, Michael (Jean) Hoffmann and Daniel (Donna) Kingston; along with many great nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial 10:30AM, Thursday, August 1, 2024, with Visitation 1 hour prior, Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church (1938 Stanford Avenue, St. Paul).
