Patricia Christine Moreno

Patricia Christine Moreno "Chris Salazar," 61, was called to Spirit Country on April 13, 2015. She was medically retired and previously worked in the building trades; electrical, mechanic and construction. Chris was an avid outdoors woman and loved to hunt, fish and garden. She was preceded in death by her parents, Daniel Salazar and Grace Hernandez. She is survived by her children; Rudy Martinez (Melissa King) Danette Martinez (Rocky Rodriguez), George DeVote and her BELOVED canine babies; Honey, Sparky and Little Girl. Siblings; Cathy Alire (Ernie Castillo) Stephanie Salazar-Rodriguez, Dan Salazar, Ron Salazar (Ruth). She was blessed to have many grandchildren; Cristina, Rocky Jr., Ruby, Eric, Saraiah, Eyane, JoVonny, Ivy, Alize, Anias, Julissa, Janiya, and Rudy Jr. She also had numerous god-children, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and a huge extended family. Visitation will be on Friday, April 24, 2015 at 10:00 a.m., followed by Mass at 11:00 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Church 3801 W. Ohio Ave., Denver, CO 80219, Interment at Crown Hill Cemetery, 7777 W. 29th Ave., Wheatridge, CO, followed by a reception at St. Anthony of Padua.
