Minnie was tiny but mighty. She may have been little but there was nothing little about her, she was a warrior with a big heart, feisty and not afraid of anything or anyone. She would tell it like it is. She was our advisor and her door was always open to whoever needed anything, a shoulder to cry on or an ear to listen she welcomed everyone as they are, without judgment. She brightened our lives everyday with her silliness, her smile and her sage advice. She was a proud and inspirational Montessori teacher, who cared for and taught countless children of Denver for nearly 30 years. She was an incredible advocate of families and children as well as early childhood education, She inspired and encouraged friends, colleagues and families she shared her days and worked with. She leaves all who knew and loved her an incredible legacy of faith, love and wisdom, a love for education, art and nature. She leaves us with values of Love, generosity, respect, integrity and the importance of family connection.
