Patricia “Pat” Marie Swigart, 74, of Davenport, FL passed away on June 23, 2023. She was born on August 28, 1948, in Benton Harbor, MI and moved to Davenport, in 1992 from St. Joseph, MI. Pat was retired from the Polk County School Board after a 28-year career, all at Loughman Oaks Elementary. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her loving family. Pat was predeceased by her companion, Daniel Pietsch and husband, Claude L. Swigart; her son, Larry Hill, Jr as well as siblings, Charles Hicks, Betty Abbott and Evelyn Altherr. She is survived by her daughter, Carrie Pietsch and her husband, Rob of Davenport, FL; siblings, Edwin Hicks and his wife, Chris of Coloma, MI, Diann Harbin of Coloma, Carol Kozma of Kissimmee, FL; brother-in-law, Larry Altherr; grandchildren, Colin Milstead, Kylie Meiers and her husband, Tristan, Colby Milstead and great grandchildren, Kenzie, Kade and Kolton. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Thursday, July 6, 2023 from 5pm until 7 pm, with a celebration of life service at 6:oo pm at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, Haines City, FL.
