LAKE ALFRED - Patricia Lovett Walden, 72, of Lake Alfred died Friday, February 21, 2014 at home from cancer. She was born October 29, 1941 in Lake Wales to Willie and Roetta (Worth) Lovett. She was a member of Oak Hill Baptist Church in Loughman. She loved to gardening, cooking, and most especially spending time with her grandchildren. Mrs. Walden was predeceased by her parents; husband Casper C. Walden; son Mark Kelly Smith; and brothers Jimmy Carruth and William Bibeault. She is survived by her Life Friend Landis McLendon; daughters Donna Smith of Lake Alfred, Connie (Felix) Burgos of Winter Haven and Bonnie (Keith) Murdock of Winter Haven; J.R. (Cora) Carruth of Lake Wales and Eugene (Wanda) Carruth of Lake Wales; sisters Cosette Shutley of Georgia and Thema (Don) Coulter of Winter Haven; 7 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at 10AM at Oak Hill Baptist Church in Loughman, with interment to follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.
