Maj Paul Joseph Foreman, USAF, (Ret.) was born in Kansas City, Missouri to Narvalee and Paul Jackson Foreman. His parents preceded him in death. Paul was raised in the railroad town of Brookfield, Missouri. Here his dad was a conductor on the Burlington railroad. Throughout his childhood, Paul loved riding the train with his dad.He was raised as an only child but married into Jan's large family whom he loved dearly and who all loved him in return. They had so many wonderful memories. After graduating from the University of Missouri, Paul Joined the United States Air Force and the adventures began. Paul and wife, Jan of fifty-eight years enjoyed all of their Air Force assignments which took them to Montana, Washington D.C., a year in Thailand for Paul, Hawaii, and Missouri, meeting lifelong friends along the way. After retiring from the Air Force, Paul was a mortgage loan officer in Warrensburg, Missouri. He was then recruited to be the Director of the Village at Skyline, a retirement community in Colorado Springs, now known as Brookdale at Skyline. It became Paul and Jan's retirement home seven months ago. Paul and Jan have been members of the First Presbyterian Church since arriving in Colorado Springs in 1992.Paul and Jan were blessed with two children, Jennifer Lynne Stevenson and Paul Jeffrey Foreman, both of Woodland Park, Colorado. Many of the over five thousand children who received the "Josh" presentation and book at their schools in Colorado Springs, Woodland Park, Divide, Cripple Creek, Estes Park, Lyons, and Loveland Colorado will remember Paul as "Big Poppa."Paul had a passion for the Rotary service club and was a perfect attendance member for over thirty-five years and was a proud Paul Harris Fellow. He was a member in Warrensburg, Missouri and most recently at the Broadmoor District Rotary Club, where he leaves many friends.Paul had a wonderful sense of humor and loved to laugh and make others laugh. He is known far and wide for telling his looooong, funny stories. At his request, cremation will take place with scattering of ashes by family on November 23, 2021 which would have been Paul's 80th birthday.
