Paul Peter Sokolowski, 91 of Venice, FL passed away September 9, 2009. Paul was born July 7, 1918 in Danbury, IA. He moved to Florida in 1990 from Troy, MI. He was a machinist for Fred Sanders Confectionary factory in Highland Park, MI until his retirement in 1978. Paul was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. Survivors include George (Mary Lorna) of Holstein, IA and Edward (Joyce) of Montclair, CA; also surviving many nieces and nephews. Paul was preceded in death by his wife Helen; parents, Jacob and Mary Sokolowski; brothers, Henry, Frank, and Joe Sokolowski; sisters, Frances Schleimer, Rose Darrah, Helen Ortner, and Mae Barry.
