Paula Marie Boynton Gillette

Paula Marie Boynton Gillette, 63, a resident of Colorado Springs, Colorado died Saturday, March 14, 2015 in Falcon, Colorado. Paula was born in Detroit, Michigan on December 15, 1951.Paula was the eldest of five children. She was very involved in activities in High School. She was a gymnast, a member of the Gymkhana Riding Club in Security, Colorado and was very involved in the Math club. She majored in chemistry at Black Hills State College where she received her Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry. She went on to earn a Master's Degree in Business at Regis University. Paula was a fundraiser and grant writer where she excelled. Paula was the Director of Foundation at St. Anthony Tri-Parish Catholic School in Casper, Wyoming. She retired and moved to Colorado Springs in 2011.Paula was very involved in her church and volunteered for several functions. She worked as a volunteer at the Catholic Center in the Citadel Mall and at the Divine Redeemer Catholic School.Paula was a member of St. Dominic Catholic Church. She was a former Rotary Club President and a long time Toastmaster. Paula was an avid outdoors person. She camped, fished and hiked in every state she lived. She caught the biggest fish every time she went out. She fell in love with outdoor life with her husband Fran Gillette. Paula had a beautiful smile and loved Jesus. She loved her mother very well and became close friends with her later on in life. She was preceded in death is her father, Charles T. Boynton; her mother, Marie S. Boynton; her first husband, Winn Goodell; and her second husband, Fran Gillette. Paula is survived by her siblings, Charles Boynton (Cheryl), Frank Boynton (Nancy), Toni McDonald (Curtis) and Jacq Caldwell (Glenn). She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, Jason Boynton (Racheal), Josh Boynton (Leslie), Matthew Boynton, Ethan Boynton (Megan), Julie Boynton (Jimmy), Lori Boynton, Jessica Stoskoph (Terry), Sam McDonald (Jessica), Aamy McDonald, Delta Harmon (Jason), Braxton Marks (Mara) and Demien Marks. She had many great nieces and great nephews. Family was everything with Paula.
