Philip William Saporito, age 80, of Venice, FL, and Wallingford, VT, died on July 26, 2014. He was born in New York on June 9, 1934. Philip moved to Wallingford, VT in 1987, and shared time between his Vermont and Florida homes beginning seven years ago. He is survived by his wife, Diane, of Venice and Wallingford; daughters Deborah Saporito of Middlebury, VT and Melissa Mirhej of Springfield, MA; sons Philip of Hazelton, PA and Michael of Hamilton, NJ; sisters Phyllis Chirco of Shoreham, NY and Rita Buckley of East Patchogue, NY; seven grandchildren and one great grandchild. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, 1282 Yardville-Allentown Rd., Allentown, NJ 08501 on Saturday, August 16th at 1:00 PM with a celebration of his life to follow. Memorial donations may be made to the TideWell Hospice, Inc, Venice Hospice House, 5955 Rand Blvd, Sarasota, FL 34238.
