Phyllis Patricia Atencio
June 14th, 1945 - February 26th, 2015
Phyllis Patricia Atencio passed away in Lakewood on February 26th, 2015 at the age of 69. She was preceded in death by her husband; Paul Atencio, her daughter Christina, her parents; Manuel & Eufemia Bejarano, her siblings; Larry Bejarano, Conrad Bejarano and Ben Bejarano. She is survived by her children; George Jacquez and Paula Schmidt. Her siblings Marian (Snook) Bejarano and Cathy Martinez. her grandchildren; Sam, Sarah, Shailyn, Saryssa, Jaylen, and Christina and Shay. Many other loving aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and cousins.. Phyllis had a lot of strength, positivity and fortitude. She was a very tenacious woman with a wonderful sense of humor, loving and caring to the entire family. She will be greatly missed by her immediate and extended family. Visitation will be on Thursday, March 5th at the Romero Family Funeral Home, 4750 Tejon St. in Denver beginning at 5:00 P.M. The Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 A.M., Friday, March 6th at St Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 3801 West Ohio in Denver. Burial to follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
