Priscilla Hernandez

Priscilla Hernandez, age 66, resident of Rocky Ford for many years, passed away on October 2, 2014 at St. Francis Medical Center in Colorado Springs. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Priscilla was born on August 24, 1948 in Swink, Colorado to the late Leofredo and Estella (Sanchez) Jaramillo. She married Natividad Hernandez on January 19, 1969 in Rocky Ford, Colorado. She was a wonderful homemaker who enjoyed family dinners, reading, listening to music, holiday decorating and baking. Priscilla was preceded in death by her children, Brian and Brenda Hernandez; her parents; her brother, Freddie Jaramillo; and her sister, Mary Vigil.She is survived by her husband, Natividad Hernandez; and her children, Tracy Trujillo of La Junta, Cynthia (Ray) Muniz of Rocky Ford, Eleanor (Adam) Casias of Rocky Ford, Stephanie Hernandez of La Junta and Erica Hernandez (Eddie Tenorio) of Rocky Ford. She is also survived by her sisters, Mercedes (Nash) Penaflor of Arvada, and Denise (Dennis) Garcia of Arvada; and brother, Steve (Irene) Jaramillo of Arvada. She has 13 grandchildren including Derek (Gabriela) Jaramillo of Rocky Ford, and Kevin (Michelle) Jaramillo of Virginia Beach; nine great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
