Ralph Clarke Hemingway

Ralph Clarke Hemingway, 77, of Calhan, Colorado passed away on November 15, 2022, in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He was born on January 13, 1945 to Clarke Marion and Ruth Catherine (Lewis) Hemingway in Trenton, Michigan. After graduating high school, Ralph served in the Navy out of Norfolk, Virginia on the USS Forrestal (CVA-59) during the Vietnam War. He also worked for the railroad for a short period of time before pursuing a career as a professional truck driver. He retired from this vocation after forty five years. Ralph's favorite hobbies were fishing, hunting, listening to books on tape while on the road, and going to auctions. He was also proud to be a member of The American Legion. Ralph was married to his former wife, Geri, and had one son, Ralph Hemingway. Later he married Shannon (Briggs) Hemingway, and they were married for forty five years. He had two stepsons, Richard and Randall Briggs; a stepdaughter, Anna Kyzar; a grandson, Joey Hemingway; a step-grandson, Jeremiah Steines; two great granddaughters; and many more relatives.
