Ramon Arvallo Saucedo
February 14th, 1945 - March 2nd, 2023
Ramon Arvallo Saucedo, age 78, from Guadalupe, Arizona, passed away on March 2, 2023. Ramon succumbed peacefully, to a long term illness at Banner Gateway Hospital, surrounded by family. Ramon was a proud, lifelong Arizona native, born in Tempe where he attended school, and graduated Tempe High School where he proudly led the band with his trumpet. He was a lover of all music and loved karaoke and playing his guitar. Ramon was a “serious” fan and supporter of his Arizona sports teams, always cheering for his Phoenix Suns, Arizona Cardinals and Arizona Sun Devils. He lived in Tonto Basin for 20 years of his life, close to his beloved lake Roosevelt where he spent many days fishing and playing his guitar. He lived his life always with a positive attitude, helping friends, and working hard. He dedicated most of working life to his own business where he was very proud of the artistic wrought iron pieces he created for many homes. When he wasn’t working, he was helping family and friends or making new friends. Ramon was very much a “family” man. He was always there for family and friends, and very proud of being a father and grandfather to his children and grandchildren as well as welcoming the new generation of great grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Jane Castro Garcia Saucedo, the mother of his children, Jeanie Rangel, his children, Eva Saucedo-Rivera, Anna (Chicki) Ramirez, Marina Kamiya, and Corinna Saucedo, 11 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his sons, Ray Saucedo Jr and Joe (Saucedo) Amador. He is also survived by his siblings, Cruz (Willa), Mary (India), Manny (Pelon), and Socorro (Babita). His parents and siblings to have gone before him, are Emilio and Socorro Saucedo, sisters Emilia (Veca), Edilia (Negra), Catherine (China), Rosa, Terry, Frances (Chuparosa). To say that Ramon will be missed is an understatement, but he left us with lots of love and very happy memories to remember him by. A Memorial Services for Ramon will be held on March 31, 2023 from 6:00pm-8:00pm at Legacy Funeral Home 1374 N Arizona Ave Chandler. Rest in peace in the arms of Jesus.
