Raymond R. Holm, 81, of Cromwell died Friday, June 12, 2009 in Villa Vista Care Center in Cromwell. He was born July 1, 1927 in Eagle Township to John A. and Tilda Holm. He spent his entire life farming on the family farm in Eagle Township until retiring in 1999. In addition to farming, Ray enjoyed going to auctions and collecting junk and then reselling his "merchandise". He had a wonderful sense of humor and enjoyed playing practical jokes. Ray was preceded in death by his wife, Eleanor; brothers, John and Lawrence Holm; and sisters, Dorothy Grogaard, Lillie Golden, and Esther Broadway. He is survived by his brother, George (Trudy) Holm of Cromwell; sister, Elma Norris of Hemet, Calif.; and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the staff at Villa Vista Care Center for the loving and compassionate care they have given to Ray. Memorial Services were held on Friday, June 19, 2009 in the Atkins-Northland Funeral Home, 801 14th St. in Cloquet. A time of lunch and fellowship followed in the Fireside Room of the funeral home.
