Regina Clara Heath

Our mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, Regina Clara Heath, 70, of Gilbert, Arizona passed away on November 12, 2013 of complications of an infection. She was born February 17, 1943 in Fresno, California to Elsie and Shirley Hood who were her adopted parents. She grew up in Glendale, Arizona and attended Glendale High School where she met and married Murray Colby Belshe deceased. From this marriage were born three daughters, Sonya Watkins, Monya Williams and Kristin Budd. She continued to live in the Glendale/Peoria area most of her life. She was a nurse by profession but left that profession after the birth of her only son Lance deceased to be a stay at home mom. She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving in many stake and ward callings including Relief Society President, Young Women's President as well as the stake and ward Camp Directors. She was a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers and enjoyed cooking and many craft talents. Preceding her in death were her parents and siblings, Elsie Patton, Shirley Hood, and her two sisters Elinore and Sandy. Also preceding her death were her son Lance Eric Heath and her second husband Gary LeRoi Heath. She is survived by her three children: Sonya & Greg Watkins of Gilbert, AZ, Monya & Eric Williams of Gilbert, AZ and Kristin & John Budd of Glendale, AZ; 8 grandchildren and spouses: Justen & Courtney Watkins of Redlands, CA, Ronny Watkins and Yuna Choe of Phoenix, AZ, Johnny Walledom of Chicago, IL, Kayla & Jeremy Roussel of Mesa, AZ, Blake & Chloe Williams of Gilbert, AZ, Jimmie & Katie Watkins of Gilbert, AZ, Kaitlyn & Brian Wright of Mesa, AZ and Haleigh & Scott Bigelow of Mesa, AZ; and 4 great grandchildren: Recker Roussel of Mesa, AZ, Tanner Watkins of Redlands, CA, Luke Watkins of Redlands, CA and Ezra Roussel of Mesa, AZ Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 19 at 10:30 am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints building located at 1010 South Recker Road, Gilbert AZ 85296. On Recker, between Warner and Ray Any donations should be sent to the Arthritis Foundation of America http://www.arthritis.org Interment will be at the Resthaven Cemetery in Glendale AZ
