Reynold "Bud" Elton Angell
August 25th, 1922 - November 2nd, 2018
Reynold "Bud" Elton Angell, 96, of Esko, died Friday, November 2, 2018 in Inter-Faith Care Center, Carlton. He was born August 25, 1922 in Cloquet, the son of Adolph and Jennie Angell. Bud was a 1940 graduate of Cloquet High School. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1943 - 1946. Bud married Lorraine Colpaert on June 12, 1948. Bud worked for the DM&IR Railway for 36 years, retiring in 1982. He was a life-time member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Cloquet. Bud enjoyed gardening, working cross word puzzles, traveling and dabbled in photography. He was also a member of two card clubs and thoroughly enjoyed playing "500". He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Lorraine; and siblings, Irene Eicher, Bernice Kimber, Jeanette Maki and Delbert Angell. Bud is deeply loved and will be missed by his children, Marie (Kevin) Stumpe of Marion, Iowa and Alan (Rowena) of Cedar, Minnesota; grandchildren, Elise (Joseph) Rasmussen, Amanda (Nathan) Kaiser, Garrett Angell and Veronica Angell (Eric Marvel); six great grandchildren, and many extended family. Visitation will be from 12:00 Noon until the 1:00 p.m. Funeral Service, Friday, November 9, 2018 in Our Savior's Lutheran Church, 12th and Doddridge, Cloquet.
