Richard Norman Auld, 80, Passed away peacefully Sunday, August 14, 2022, in Ocala, Florida. He was a widower of Melanie Weeks Auld. Richard was the eldest son of Norman and Verna Auld and was born on December 5, 1941. He was born in Patterson N.J. and moved to Florida shortly thereafter. He was a lifelong resident of Florida. He grew up in Hollywood Florida, lived in Fort Lauderdale then later moved to Ocala, Florida where he resided for nearly 50 years. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp. He was in the Grocery business. He loved gardening, boating and fishing as well as being an avid Artist. He loved Florida from the Keys all the way up to North Central Florida especially Ocala. In his spare time he loved to go to his lake house in Fort McCoy and spend time having family get togethers, Painting and listening to Jimmy Buffett. He enjoyed NASCAR racing. He is survived by his children; Michael R. Auld (Sherry Kilbride), Tammy Holland (Richard), Nikki Valla, Richard J. Auld (Briana) his 12 grandchildren, 4 great- grandchildren, 4 siblings Robert, Timothy, Janice Auld and Peggy Short Auld and several nieces and nephews.
