Richard Joseph Belanger, 52, of Winter Haven, FL passed away on Sunday, March 8, 2015 at his residence. Born August 10, 1962 in Southington, CT he moved to Winter Haven 1 ½ years ago. He was retired from concrete construction a member of the Catholic faith and a past member of the Harley Owners Group. Richard is survived by: his wife of 30 years, Line Belanger; a son, Joseph Richard Belanger of Winter Haven; 2 daughters, Amy Marie Belanger of Clarksville, TN and Chelsey Doreen Belanger of Winter Haven; his parents, Joseph and Mary Belanger of Winter Haven; 3 sisters, Valerie Pawlicki of Winter Haven, Kathy Atwood of Bristol, CT, and Karen Bernard of Southington, CT; 2 grandsons whom were the love of his life, Gabriel and Austin; his mother-in-law, Eva Rioux of New Brunswick, Canada; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. The family will receive friends from 2:00pm till 3:30pm, Friday, March 13, 2015 at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Winter Haven, FL. Funeral Services will begin at 3:30pm in the funeral home chapel. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the charity of your choice in his memory. Condolences may be sent at www.oakridgefuneralcare.com.
