Richard W. Dangler

Richard W. Dangler, 79, of Davenport, FL passed away on 3/6/18. He was born on 8/30/38 to John and Ila Walton Dangler in Mount Pleasant, MI and moved to Davenport in 2000 from Maine. He was employed with general electric and retired from Lockheed Martin in 1995. A Navy veteran, he served from 1961 - 1968. Richard was an avid golfer and a RV enthusiast. He was predeceased by his wife, Theresa Y. Dangler, his parents, and son, Stephen Tomko. Richard is survived by his children, Mieka (Jerry) Gerard of Oldsmar, FL, Veronica (Richard) Allen and Francis Tomko, Jr., both of Lemon Grove, CA, Victoria (Bruce) White of Fredericksburg, VA, Krista (Donald, Jr.) Kirby of Alexandria, VA, Juanita Olona of Denver, CO, Peter Tomko of Grand Lake, CO; sister, Bonnie Yates, of Manistique, MI; grandchildren: Maxx Gerard II, of Richmond,VA, Ian and Cory White of Fredericksburg, VA, Verle and Steven Allen of San Diego, CA, Richard Libby Jr. of Brunswick, ME, Stacy Olona of Denver, CO,Eddie Tomko and great grandson, Latham of Virginia Beach, VA, and Ericka (Addison) Greenwell of Hanover, MD; nephew, Christopher Yates and his children, Coreen, Keenan and Lilly, of Mount Pleasant, MI; niece, Tina (Jeff) Tuller and their children, Ila, Luke and Cora, of Owosso, MI. A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the American Diabetes Association.
