Richard "Rick" Dowdy

Richard "Rick" Dowdy, 43, died on August 4, 2015 in Woodland Park, Colorado. He was born at Moody Air Force Base, Valdosta, Georgia on March 23, 1972. He was a 1994 graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy, a Commander in the U.S. Naval Reserves, and employed as a Systems Engineer at Lockheed Martin.He will forever be remembered by his wife and children as a great, loving Dad and the most amazing man they have ever known. He was the best husband, father, son and friend anyone could have.He was active in sports, outdoor activities and music. He was a Cantor, choir member, Eagle Scout and an Iraq Veteran.
