Richard James Keleher

Richard James Keleher passed away at his home on September 29, 2018 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He was born January 4, 1952 in Clarion, Iowa to James Wayne and Doris Eileen (Hoyt) Keleher.Richard spent four years of his early life as a proud member of the United Sates Marine Corp. He then married the love of his life, Patricia Mary Lund, and then enlisted in the United States Air Force Reserve where he dedicated fifteen years. Richard also spent one year as a police officer in Colfax, Iowa, then became a federal police officer for the United States Treasury Department.He is preceded in death by his parents, James and Doris Keleher; and his brother, Robert Keleher.Richard is survived by his wife, Patricia Mary Keleher; sons, Jason Wayne (Melody) Keleher and Christopher (Tiffany) Keleher; daughter, Jaime Lee (Keats) Herseim; brother, Larry Keleher; sister, Donna Freese; grandchildren, Rachael Holz, Joshua Keleher, Jaxon Keleher, Landon Keleher, Jakob Yarbrough; and great-grandson, Oliver Blue Street.Visitation, 9:00AM, Friday, October 5, 2018, The Springs Funeral Services-North, 6575 Oakwood Boulevard, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80923.Funeral Service, 10:00AM, Friday, October 5, 2018 at The Springs Funeral Services-North.Interment, 1:00PM, Monday, November 5, 2018, Pikes Peak National Cemetery, 10545 Drennan Road, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80925.
