Richard Lee McMullen, 67, of North Port, FL passed away peacefully Wednesday August 27. Richard was a Vietnam vetran who served in the US Navy. He was an active member of the North Port Masonic Lodge and other various organizations within the community and the state. He is survived by his wife, 5 children, 15 grandchildren, his mother, brother, and 2 sisters, as well as many cherished extended family and friends. In lieu of flowers the family encourages donations be made in honor of Richard to the North Port Masonic Lodge Charity Fund, which supports local youth. A memorial service to be held Saturday September 6 at 3PM at Farley Funeral Home North Port Chapel. A reception will follow at St. Nathaniels Episcopal Church.
