Richard Lee Moen, 66 of Cloquet passed away on Sunday, July 13, 2014 in his home. He was born May 30, 1948 in Cloquet to Russell and Gladys Moen. Rick graduated from Cloquet High School in 1966. Rick worked at Potlatch for a short time before moving to Finland where he worked at Reserve Mining for 12 years. In 1987 he moved back to Cloquet and worked at USG. Rick was a former member of Beaver Bay Assembly of God and the New Hope Bible Chapel in Esko. He enjoying playing guitar, fishing, hunting, and archery. Rick was preceded in death by his mother and step-father, Gladys and Harry Milberger; father, Russell Moen; and sister, Sandy Anderson. He is survived by his son, Derek of Cloquet; sister, Linda Anderson; brothers, Jeff and Karl (Nicole) all of Cloquet; and three nieces and two nephews. Memorial services were held on Monday, July 21, 2014 in the Atkins Northland Funeral Home, 801 14th St., Cloquet.
