Richard Perri

March 18th, 1943 - August 6th, 2024

Richard Joseph Perri, born on March 18, 1943, passed away on August 6, 2024, finding peace in the arms of the Lord. He is survived by his beloved family: his oldest son Joseph Perri (Lisa), and granddaughters Danielle (Ryan) and Lauren (Freddy); his daughters Melissa Abromaitis (Jeff) with grandchildren Caden, Cameron, and Charli; and Michelle Passarelli (Johnny) with grandchildren Luca and Aviana. He is also survived by his sister Charlotte Wiard (Daughter Traci). He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Rose Perri.

 

Rich was born and raised in Chicago, IL, later moving to Racine, WI, and eventually retiring in Chandler, AZ. A true entrepreneur at heart, he owned and operated Perri Environmental Services, Inc. Known for his warm personality, Rich was always surrounded by family and friends who loved him dearly. He enjoyed vacations, dining out, and spending time at the casino.

Rich was an avid sportsman from a young age, playing baseball and nearly making the Chicago White Sox MLB team. He also enjoyed hunting with his cousins and uncles, and served proudly in the U.S. Marine Corps. Throughout his life, he remained active in sports, particularly enjoying tennis and golf.

Rich's presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date to honor his memory.
