September 18th, 1948 - March 18th, 2021
Richard (Rick) W. Rainwater, Davenport, FL suddenly went home to be with his Lord and savior on Thursday, March 18, 2021. Rick was born on September 18, 1948 in Flint, Michigan. Rick grew up and lived in the Flint/Swartz Creek area most of his life and recently started spending winters in Florida. He was an Army veteran and served in Vietnam. He worked at GM for 30 years and was a Union Chairman for the UAW when he retired. Rick loved the Lord, his family, his little dog Bobo, riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, reading and keeping active! His heart was physically weak but strong in spirit and love. He was preceded in death by his father, Earl Rainwater, his mother, Mary Smith, and his sister Sheila. He leaves behind, his wife Margie, whom he shared his life and his love with for a short 2 years and 8 months; his children; Kessi Rainwater, Carrie Rainwater; Earl (Buster) Rainwater (Kelly), Derek Justice (Danielle) and Jordan Justice; grandchildren; TJ, Madalyn, Marissa, Peyton, Jocelyn and Layton; his sisters, Kathy Marckese, Anita Thomas ( Jim), brother Ted Rainwater (Snow); several aunts, uncle, nieces and nephews, and many friends. He will be missed by all those who loved him. There is no service scheduled at this time.
