Richard G. Russo, 67, of North Port, FL and formerly of Massachusetts passed away on September 25, 2021 in North Port, FL. Richard was born on January 23, 1954 to the parents of James Bernard and Dorothy McGuirt Russo in Fort Bragg, NC. He spent his working career as a Respiratory Therapist. He is survived by his three sons, James Russo of Panama City, FL, Richard Russo of Hill AFB, Utah, and Mark Russo of Boston, MA; three grandchildren, Elias Coffil, Abigail Coffil, Trishelle Keesee, and Vincent Russo; sister, Deborah Schnyer and her husband, Bill Schnyer; and many extended family members and friends. Richard was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Michael Russo. There are no services planned at this time. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be directed to the Salvation Army in North Port or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Farley Funeral Home in North Port is in charge of arrangements.
