Rita M. Glaz

Rita M. Glaz, 88, of The Villages, FL passed away on Sunday, July 7, 2019. Rita was born in Erie, Pennsylvania on November 11, 1930. She was retired from Zurn Industries as a payroll clerk. Rita enjoyed singing and music and was a friend to everyone she met. She is survived by her daughters, Doris Glaz, Christine Baughman (William) and Karen McClure (Tom McGrath), granddaughter, Cheryl McClure and grandson, Billie McClure. Rita was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Raymond Glaz. They were members of St. Timothy Catholic Church Community. Both graciously volunteered their time with the Cancer Support Group at The Villages for 20 years. A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 11, 2019 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 Pm at the Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 1511 Buenos Aires Blvd., The Villages, FL 32159 followed by a prayer service at 12:00 noon.
