Rita A. Perales

Rita A. Perales, age 95, passed away in Salinas, California on November 29, 2016 of natural causes. She was the matriarch of five generations. Rita was born in Harshaw, Arizona. She also lived in Patagonia and Nogales, Arizona, and Salinas, California before settling in Prunedale, California. Rita graduated from High School and also attended Hartnell College. She was a member of the Madonna Del Sasso Church in Salinas, California. Rita is survived by children, Frank Perales, Stella Marquez, David Perales, Julie Perales, Cynthia Ring and Norman Perales. She is also survived by two sisters, Claudia Gonzales and Amelia Harris. She had 25 grandchildren, numerous nephews and nieces and other relatives. Rita was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Gaston Perales and sons, Bobby, Robert, Richard and Oscar Perales. She was loved by her family and will be truly missed. Services are as follows: Visitation is on Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at 5:00 to 9:00 PM at Mission Mortuary, 450 Camino El Estero, Monterey, California. The Rosary will be at 7:00 PM. The Funeral Mass will be on Thursday, December 8, 2016 at 1:00 PM at Madonna Del Sasso Church in Salinas. Burial is to follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Prunedale.
