Robert Douglas Bray, 82, of Golden, Colorado passed away on Wednesday, July 11, 2018, at St. Joseph Hospital in Denver, Colorado. Born in Pontiac, Michigan to parents Hartley (Curly) and Bernice Bray who preceded Bob in death. Also preceded in death; son, Brian Bray, and brother Richard Bray. Bob served in the U.S. Army from 1954-1956, in the medical core in France and Germany. He attended colleges in Michigan, Colorado and Washington State. Bob had various careers in his life, but his true passion was skiing. He was a Professional Ski Instructor, both full and part-time for over 40 years and after retiring, could be found skiing at Loveland and Lake Eldora. Also, after retirement, his second passion was fly fishing. He is survived by his wife Virginia Waldorf Bray; daughter Betsy and son-in-law Ray Dye of Flat Rock, MI; son, Matthew Chambers, Golden, CO; son Mark and daughter-in-law Dana Chambers, Sherwood, AR; daughter, Maria, and son-in-law Ron Keen, Golden, CO; Brother-in-law Mike Waldorf, Little Rock, AR; sister-in-law, Homi Waldorf, Colorado Springs, CO; brother-in-law and wife, Ray and Carolyn Waldorf, Benton, AR; sister-in-law and husband, Jane and John Bruning, Longmont, CO; grandchildren, Olivia and Sam Gark, MI; Jordan Keen and Taylor Keen, Golden, CO; Virginia and husband Andy Lee, Maumelle, AR; Baylei and Madelyn Chambers, Ft. Lupton, CO. Bob is also survived by an uncle, Larry Waldorf and wife Louise, ID, and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
