Robert Eugene Darnell

Robert Eugene Darnell, Sr. 95, of Ocala passed away on Thursday, September 9, 2021, at Estelle's Hospice House in Ocala. Bob was a native of Mt Vernon, Illinois and moved to this area several years ago. Bob was a veteran of the United States Army. He was a retired manager for Del Monte Foods and always loved to shoot pool. Survivors include his spouse, Marilyn P Darnell; sons Robert Darnell Jr., Brian Darnell; daughter, Dawn Zimmerman; daughters in law, Bibi Darnell, Kelly Darnell; son in law, Edward Zimmerman; grandson Justin Potts; granddaughters, Tara Anne Rothberg, Brooke Darnell, Linley Darnell; great grandsons Colin Potts, Julian Potts; stepsons Glenn Harmon, Mark Harmon; and one stepdaughter Sharon Harmon.
