Robert "Bob" L. Fallander

In the early morning hours of November 21, Bob's soul winged its way to Heaven. He was a quiet gentleman and he died peacefully in his favorite chair making not a sound nor uttering a complaint. Bob's heart and lungs failed. But being a devout Christian, Bob did not fear death - he welcomed it!Bob was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota on September 8, 1927 to Edwin and Ellen Fallander. In his 88 years of life, he made many wonderful memories. His memories will live on through Donna, his wife of 36 years, his son Dean (wife Dorene), and his daughter Cheryl (husband Rick). Bob is also survived by grandchildren Matthew, Michael, Hailey, Sophia (Dean's children) and Ken (wife Kathryn), Keith and Marcia (Cheryl's children). Bob's first wife, Blanche, also survives and remained a close friend.Bob found joy in life! He was an avid golfer (still doing that in Heaven, we're sure) and loved boating on Lake Granby in his earlier years. He also enjoyed fishing with Donna and their dogs.Bob had multiple careers. He served in the Navy for 3 years, continuing in the Air Force Reserves for approximately 12 years. He worked for General Electric, then started and operated his own electrical parts company in Denver for many years. After moving to Colorado Springs, he was a college counselor and then an insurance agent. Bob never fully retired - he studied the workings of internet businesses until his final days.Bob will be greatly missed. "When tomorrow starts without me, don't think we're far apart.
