Robert "Bob" J. Kivlehan
June 18th, 1936 - November 2nd, 2018
SUMMERFIELD – Bob Kivlehan, 82, passed from this life November 2, 2018. Born in Brighton, MA he was the son of the late John J. and Edith (Fleeson) Kivlehan. Bob served his country in the U. S. Army during the late 1950’s early 60’s and was a graduate of Burdett College in Boston, MA. Bob was a marketing manager for United Airlines and served the airlines in the Boston, Pittsburgh, Cleveland and Chicago markets. He retired in 1998 after 34 years of service. Bob and his wife Shirley came to Del Webb Summerfield, FL community in 2000 from Chicago, IL. He was an avid golfer as well as a Boston Red Sox fan. He enjoyed all the sports teams in Chicago and did various marketing work for them. He attended St. Theresa Catholic Church in Belleview. Bob is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Shirley (Stockman) Kivlehan; his children, Bob Kivlehan, Jr., and wife Georgia; Diane Hudson and husband, David; granddaughters; Delaney Hudson, Saundra Stone and husband Matt; Stephanie Hudziak and husband Ken; all of Chicago, IL; sister, June Costello and husband Richard of Westford, MA. : John Kivlehan and wife Nancy of NH. The family will receive relatives and friends at a visitation to be held on Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at the Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services 1511 Buenos Aires Blvd., The Villages from 4 to 6 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Theresa Catholic Church 11528 SE US Hwy 301, Belleview, at 10 AM on Thursday, November 8, 2018.
