Robert A. Parrott, 84, of North Port, FL, died August 19, 2006. He was born December 22, 1921 in Utica, NY and has been a Florida resident for 22 years having come from Sudbury, MA. He was a United States Army Veteran. Survivors include two daughters: Patricia Reid of Norwich, CT and Susan Griffith of North Port, FL; two sons: Stephen Parrott of Warwick, NY and Mark Parrott of Houston, TX; two sisters: Betty Wasserman of Juno Beach, FL and Doris Lauder of Binghamton, NY; and seven grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held 4 PM, Tuesday, August 22, 2006 at Farley Funeral Home, North Port Chapel. Memorial donations may be made to TideWell Hospice and Palliative Care, 5955 Rand Boulevard, Sarasota, FL, 34238 or the American Cancer Society, South Sarasota/DeSoto Unit, 2801 Fruitville Road, Suite 250, Sarasota, FL 34237. Friends may visit anytime online at www.farleyfuneralhome.com to sign a guest register book and extend condolences to the family.
