Robert A Petro

Robert A. Petro, 86, of Winter Haven, FL went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at Winter Haven Hospital. Born September 12, 1932 in Flint, Michigan to Walter and Anna (Tarsenko) Petro, he was a US Army veteran serving in the Korean War. He moved to Winter Haven 31 years ago from Grand Blanc, MI after retiring from General Motors where he worked in Product Engineering. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Winter Haven. Robert is survived by: his wife of 62 years, Anne; four daughters, Beth Roybal of Aromas, CA, Gayle Skowronski and her husband Frank of Bartow, FL, Robin Murphy and her husband John of Winter Haven, and Jayne Kennon and her husband, Mike of Winter Haven; a brother, David Petro of Mesa, AZ; two sisters, Margaret Moore and Irene Dohrman both of Grand Blanc, MI; six grandchildren, Julia, Sarah, Steven, Mariah, Robbie and Gideon; and three great-grandchildren, Adele, Mateo and Kolbe. The family will receive friends from 10:00am till 11:00am, Saturday, October 6, 2018 at Calvary Baptist Church in Winter Haven. A Memorial Service will follow at 11:00am with Rev.
