Robert P. Rodrigues

Robert P. Rodrigues, 70, of Auburndale, FL passed away on Tuesday, April 4, 2023 at the Life Care Center of Winter Haven after having a major stroke a year ago. He was the longtime partner of Suzanne Magina of Auburndale, FL. Bob was born in Fall River, MA son of the late Joaquim "Jack" Rodrigues and the late Evelyn (Michaud) Rodrigues Bruneau and had been a longtime resident of Auburndale. Prior to retirement, he worked for many flooring companies as a tile installer and warehouse manager. Bob enjoyed fishing, the Yankees, Patriots and Bruins teams but, most of all, lived his life for his son Robbie. He was the best Dad ever and will be sadly mourned by his son and family. Survivors along with his partner include his son: Robert "Robbie" Rodrigues of Auburndale, FL; his daughter: Lisa Rodrigues of Roslindale, MA; 2 sisters: Jeanine "Jaye" Rodrigues of Jupiter, FL and Linda Lord (Christopher) of Flagler Beach, FL; along many nephews, nieces, special cousins and friends. He was the brother of the late Susan Rodrigues Briere. Mass of Christian Burial to which relatives and friends are invited to attend will be Saturday, April 15, 2023 at Our Lady of Grace Church, Westport, MA at 10:00 A.M. Visitation will be Saturday at the Potter Funeral Home, 81 Reed Rd., Westport, MA 02790 from 8-9:30 A.M. prior to the Mass. Interment will be in Beech Grove Cemetery, Westport alongside his family. The family would like to give a special thanks to Life Care Center of Winter Haven, FL for their impeccable and compassionate care of Bob.
