June 21st, 1950 - September 6th, 2011
Robert T. Westbrook, 61, passed away Tuesday, September 6, 2011. He was born June 21, 1950, a son of the late Bobby T. and Dorothy Odom Westbrook. He was predeceased by a brother, Jim Westbrook. Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 9, 2011, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on Fort Jackson Blvd. The family will receive friends from 6 til 8 p.m. Thursday at Greenlawn Funeral Home, 845 Leesburg Road, Columbia, SC 29209. Mr Westbrook was President and CEO of Care Cars, LLC, and Westbrook Media Group and was an agent with Stan Smith Realty. He attended Ricks College and the University of South Carolina. He served a mission and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Bob was a great inspiration to others and served in many capacities in the community. He enjoyed spending time with family, friends and, most of all, his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Lynn Sanders Westbrook of the home; a son, David Brad Westbrook and his wife, Kristina, of Hyde Park, VT; daughters, Angela Westbrook Yates and her husband, Sam, of Columbia, and Amanda Westbrook Twork of Columbia; a stepson, William Thomas Jones of Columbia; a sister, Ann Westbrook Smith and husband, Max, of Gaston; grandchildren, Gabbi, Madison, Hampton, Lauren, Luke and Kaitlyn. Memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice. Greenlawn Funeral Home is serving the family.
