Roger Franklin Papale

May 24th, 1967 - April 28th, 2013

Roger Franklin Papale entered into rest peacefully at his home in Longmont, Colorado on April 28, 2013. Roger was born in Newburgh, New York on May 24, 1967 to Robert A. Papale and Nancylee Deyo. Roger and family moved to the beautiful state of Colorado in 1979 where Roger went to Skyline High School. Roger had a love at a very early age for camping, motorcycles and cooking and became an excellent cook. He started his cooking career at Longmont Country Club and concluded with Caf� Marnie'. He loved working on and fine tuning bicycles, and enjoyed riding with his children. Roger developed a love for art of all types. He was an amazing artist whether drawing, sketching, or painting. Roger put this skill to use as a tattoo artist. Roger had a true love for music, he played keyboard and guitar. He was a wonderful father and grandfather, cherishing the time he had with them. Roger will be greatly missed and forever in our hearts. Roger is survived by his mother Nancy (Bill) Smith, his wife Stacy Papale, their children Krysta (Chris) LeCrue, Micheal (Mary) Papale, Brieonna Papale and Alec Waters. Roger's grandchildren include Christian and Mason Lecrue, Isabella and Zyler Papale and Justin Hollaway. His brother Robert E. (Robin) Papale and their child Allyson Papale . Robert is also survived by his brother, Robert ( Halie ) Smith, their children Courtney, Britney, and Zoey Smith. Roger has two surviving grandparents Frank Deyo of Berthoud, and Betty Smith of Lakewood and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Roger was preceded in death by his father Robert A. I remember Roger from a young age. He was my friend. My first boyfriend (I was 10). And his family, for quite some time, was my "other" family. We spent many happy weekends at their home in Marlboro, NY! My heart goes out to Robert, Nan, and all the rest of his family.
